Follow these steps to install Kantr on a Wix site. Wix offers custom code areas where you can paste your Kantr embed snippet.
Before you start
- Log in to app.kantrsoftware.com and copy your installation snippet.
- You need permission to edit site settings and custom code in Wix.
Install on Wix (Custom Code)
- Open the Wix Editor for your site.
- Go to Settings → Custom Code (or Tracking & Analytics in some Wix versions).
- Choose to add code to All pages and set placement to Body – end (or equivalent “before closing body”).
- Paste your Kantr snippet, name the snippet (e.g. “Kantr”), and apply.
- Publish your site and test on the live URL.
Embed on a single page
Alternatively, in the editor you can add an Embed → Custom embed (or HTML iframe/embed element), paste the snippet, and resize the block if needed. Site-wide custom code is usually easier for a floating chat widget.
Verify
- Test on the published site; the editor preview may not match production.
- Use a private/incognito window to rule out cache.
