Welcome to Kantr, a software-as-a-service operated by Indie Technology Limited ("we," "us," "our"). By subscribing to and using our services available on www.kantrsoftware.com (the "Website"), you agree to the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Use"). Please read these Terms of Use carefully before subscribing to or using our services.

1. Subscription and Payment Terms

1.1 Account Setup

Your account details will be provided via email to you immediately after signing up to Kantr.

1.2 Pricing Tiers

Kantr offers multiple subscription tiers, each with a different monthly fee and lead limit. The lead limit determines how many qualified leads you can access with full contact information each month. Current tiers include:

  • Starter – Up to 5 qualified leads per month
  • Growth – Up to 15 qualified leads per month
  • Pro – Up to 35 qualified leads per month
  • Scale – Up to 80 qualified leads per month

Lead limits and pricing are subject to change. You will be notified in advance of any such changes.

1.3 Lead Limits and Contact Information

Each subscription tier includes a maximum number of leads per month. Leads that exceed your tier's limit will have their contact information concealed. You will be able to see that a lead exists and basic information about it, but contact details (such as name, email, and phone number) will remain hidden until you upgrade to a higher tier. Once you upgrade, you will gain access to the contact information for any leads that were previously concealed within your new tier's limit.

1.4 Upgrading Your Plan

If you upgrade to a higher tier:

  • The upgrade takes effect immediately
  • You will be billed for the difference (prorated) straight away
  • You will gain immediate access to the higher lead limit and any previously concealed contact information within that limit

1.5 Downgrading Your Plan

If you downgrade to a lower tier:

  • The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will continue to have access to your current tier's features until the end of the month
  • From the start of your next billing cycle, you will be charged the lower tier's price and your lead limit will be reduced accordingly

1.6 Monthly Rolling Subscription

All services provided by Kantr are based on a monthly rolling subscription, which automatically renews on the same date each month unless cancelled by either party.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the application and will be issued a pro-rated refund for any unused portion of your current billing period if eligible in accordance with section 2.1.

The subscription fee will be billed via Stripe on a monthly basis.

1.7 Billing

All payments are due at the start of each billing cycle and will be automatically collected via a Stripe subscription.

Failure to pay the subscription fee may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Kantr service.

2. Cancellation and Termination

2.1 Cancellation by You

You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the application. Upon cancellation by you within the platform:

  • Your account will be closed immediately
  • You will receive a pro-rated refund for any unused portion of your current billing period

If you request us (via email or support) to cancel your subscription on your behalf, your account will be closed but no refund will be given for any unused portion of your current billing period.

2.2 Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your subscription at our discretion if:

  • You breach these Terms of Use
  • You fail to make payment when due
  • We suspect fraudulent or abusive activity
  • We cease operations or discontinue the service

In the event we terminate your subscription, you will receive a pro-rated refund for any unused portion of your current billing period, unless the termination is due to a breach of these Terms of Use or fraudulent activity.

3. Refunds

3.1 Pro-Rated Refunds

Pro-rata refunds for the current month's subscription are only available if you cancel your subscription yourself from within the platform. If you request us to cancel your subscription on your behalf (for example, by contacting support), no refund will be given for any unused time in your current billing period.

When you cancel your subscription yourself from within the platform, we calculate refunds on a pro-rata basis for any unused time in your current billing period. Refunds typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days of cancellation.

4. Modifications to Services and Fees

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of the Kantr service at any time, with or without notice.

We may change subscription fees and tier limits. You will be notified in advance of any such changes. Your continued use of the service following such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new terms.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Indie Technology Limited shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Kantr service.

6. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

7. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. For more information about how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy or contact us.
