Follow these steps to install Kantr on a Squarespace site. You’ll paste a single snippet from your Kantr dashboard into Squarespace’s code injection area.
Before you start
- Log in to app.kantrsoftware.com and copy your installation snippet (embed code).
- You need Administrator access to the Squarespace site.
Install on Squarespace
- In Squarespace, open Settings (gear icon).
- Go to Advanced → Code Injection.
- Paste your Kantr snippet into the Footer field (recommended so the widget loads after your page content).
- Click Save.
- Visit your live site (not only the editor preview) and confirm the Kantr assistant appears.
Using a specific page only
If you prefer not to use site-wide Code Injection, you can add a Code block on individual pages and paste the snippet there. Site-wide Footer injection is usually simpler for chat widgets.
Verify
- Open your site in a private/incognito window to avoid cached scripts.
- Send a test message through the assistant and check that it appears in your Kantr dashboard.
